Location

By air the easiest way to reach Clare is via Shannon International Airport.

There are scheduled flights to Shannon from Dublin, Belfast, U.K., Europe, U.S.A and Canada.

There is also an Airport in Galway which offers domestic flights.

Sea ferry services operate, year-round, from the U.K. and France.
Ferries travel to Cork, Rosslare, Dun Laoghaire and Dublin ferryports.
Larne is approx. 5 hours.

From Dublin, Doolin is roughly a four hour drive and for decades has been the ideal weekend and short break destination.

The Region is easily reached by road or rail.
Ennis, Limerick and Galway City are on the National Train grid and have daily services from Dublin. Limerick City is the Shannon Region's major rail hub and bus connections can also take you onward to Ennis and points in Clare. Clare and Galway are also well serviced by a network of Bus Routes.
